Porsche Speedster recreation

The Porsche 356 Speedster was introduced in 1954 after Max Hoffman, the American importer of the German brand, saw opportunities for a cheaper, spartan open sports car based on the successful 356. Porsche then introduced the 356 Speedster, like many legendary models from history. from Porsche, the “art of omission” led to one of the most desirable models in automotive history.

This Porsche 356 Vintage Speedster is a recreation of the original, it is a copy built by the renowned American company Vintage Speedsters, which has now delivered more than 3,300 copies of the Speedster.

This Speedster has a shortened chassis from a 1962 VW Beetle underneath. A steel subframe is mounted on it, giving the car a very high degree of rigidity. 90% of the Speedster recreations come from this American builder, motivated by the high build quality.

Most Speedsters offered have a 1,600cc air-cooled engine. Thanks to the optional double sports exhaust, this Speedster produces an impressive sound that will be music to the ears of the enthusiast. The driver does not have to worry about stopping power as this car has the optional disc brakes at the front.

The body of the Speedster is made of polyester. Because the paint layer could not withstand the perfectionist’s judgment, it was decided to provide the body with a new layer of paint in 5404 Elfenbein Weiss, an original Porsche color, before delivery.

The body is like new and completely damage-free. The applied gold-colored lettering and emblems are the original copies from the Porsche shelves. It is also equipped with aluminum trim and sill moldings. The fabric convertible top and matching windows are also made in cream and look as if they have never been used.

The interior is covered in a beautiful cream color that complements the white paint excellently. The bucket seats keep you perfectly in place and are covered with artificial leather. The wooden Nardi steering wheel with original Porsche horn button and the minimalist dashboard in no way suggest that you are in a replica.

In short, a beautiful Porsche 356 Speedster recreation in a very tasteful color scheme, exceptionally high quality and equipped with attractive options that are just as good as a new one.
