Wiesmann MF30 roadster
Wiesmann is a German car brand founded in 1988 by brothers Martin and Friedhelm Wiesmann in Dรผlmen in North Rhine-Westphalia. The brothers made their dream come true by building a hand-built sports car. The first Wiesmann Roadster was delivered in May 1993. Powered by a BMW engine, the cars are made exactly to the customer’s wishes. The models are constantly updated with the latest technology, but the basic concept remains the same. The MF3 model was powered by the iconic S54 engine of the BMW M3, infamous for its character and performance. The 3,246 cm3 front-mounted mid-engine delivered 343 HP/252 kW, with a maximum torque of 365 Nm and a power-to-weight ratio of 3.44 KG/HP. Its 0 to 100 km/h time was just 4.9 seconds, and its top speed was 255 km/h. The vehicleโs low weight and the tremendous power of its inline six-cylinder engine resulted in extraordinary driving dynamics. Produced for 18 years, the MF3 was Wiesmannโs longest running car, with production ending in a Final Edition collaboration with design agency SIEGER.
In December 2002, this beautiful light blue metallic car rolled out of the factory in Dulmen, Germany. Nice detail is that this factory was rebuilt in 2007 with a very special roof construction; namely, in the shape of a Gecko. The gecko is the logo of the Wiesmann and refers to its driving characteristics. The Wiesmann is said to stick to the road like a gecko to the wall. The car found its way to its first owner in Palma de Majorca, and then to Germany where it would remain until 2015. Since then it has been owned by a Belgian owner who recently said goodbye to this timeless beauty. In all those years the car has not been driven very much, only about 54000 kilometers on the counter. Supported by a completed service book and also certainly visible in the condition of the car. It looks great and can be used as such by its new owner. Very complete with the original documentation folder and old registration certificates from Germany and Belgium, wind rack for behind the seats and a soft top in perfect condition in beautiful contrasting dark blue and ditto hood cover.
