Porsche 911 SC targa
This Porsche 911 Targa rolled off the production line in June 1979, making it a 3.0 SC model. It features the Targa body styleโa highly sought-after option that offers the experience of open-top driving without the need to purchase a full convertible. Originally delivered in Europe, it was subsequently sold to the United States, where it was imported by Sea Jet Imports. After its time in the US, the Porsche eventually returned to the Netherlands in October 1991. While there is no documentation regarding its early history, included invoices show that the car underwent an engine overhaul in 2005 at the Porsche specialist Van den Berg in Apeldoorn and later underwent a major restoration in 2016. During that restoration, the entire body was repainted in Grand Prix Whiteโstarting from bare metalโand finished with an additional clear coat. The work also included new upholstery and rubber seals, major mechanical servicing, and a complete engine disassembly, during which the head studs were replaced and the engine was resealed.
The result is impressive; the Porsche looks stunning in this color scheme and is in immaculate condition. A photo album documenting the restoration is included, showing that the car was accident-free and detailing the various stages of the work. The engine runs perfectly and is completely dry, while the car offers a taut yet comfortable driving experience. This body style is ideally suited for touring rallies and drives, making it a favorite among true driving enthusiasts. It is currently on display in our showroom, eagerly awaiting its new owner. It is competitively priced, so we do not expect it to remain with us for long.
