Jaguar XK 5.0 ltr cabriolet
The last classic Jaguar?
As the headline suggests, recent developments surrounding the famous Coventry-based brand are causing quite a stir. Which direction is it heading? We don’t know—and, like you, we’re probably just as in the dark… Because of our deep love for the brand and the approaching summer, we’ve just had the pleasure of adding a stunning XK convertible to our collection, which we’d love to tell you more about here.
The XK convertible shown here is finished in “Polaris White,” a color that is not only rare but also exceptionally attractive, perfectly showcasing the design by the renowned Ian Callum. Combined with a very chic dark brown interior and complemented by 19-inch Caravela alloy wheels and a black convertible top, the entire package is truly timeless. As a post-first-facelift model, this XK features the wonderfully sounding 5.0-liter V8 engine, which delivers 385 hp and 515 Nm of torque for highly impressive performance. The engine and, especially, the exhaust note even hint at a touch of NASCAR, making it a joy to press the accelerator pedal deep into the dark brown carpet. The beautiful, soft-leather-upholstered interior is still completely like new after covering just over 40,000 kilometers, and the aluminum details makes the whole interior not only luxurious but also modern. In addition to seat heating, the front seats with perforated center panels are also equipped with ventilation—a feature that is as pleasant as it is rare.
As we mentioned earlier, the mileage is exceptionally low, and in addition to the car’s excellent condition, the maintenance history is complete and up-to-date from new, with invoices for all service visits and stamps in the service booklet. The car was first delivered in Germany, where it had only one owner from new, before being registered in the Netherlands last summer.
In summary, this beautifully executed Jaguar 5.0-liter V8 convertible is a car for the true enthusiast who still wants to enjoy one of Jaguar’s last truly classic models.
