Porsche 911 2.7 Carrera
The G-series 2.7 Carrera was produced only in 1974 and 1975. These models were distinguished by a slightly wider body, a chrome side mirror, and black door handles and window frames. US-specification models featuring mechanical fuel injection were often referred to as CIS versions. European models, designated MFI, were more powerful than their American counterparts, delivering 210 hp.
This particular Porsche is a US-market model that stands out thanks to its stunning orange paintwork. The front and rear lids immediately catch the eye; they were custom-made from ultra-lightweight carbon fiber by the Dutch firm Krauwer Design and are included in the sale price. The original lids are also present and will be supplied with the car.
The paintwork is in excellent condition; the car was repainted down to the bare metal and the bodywork is exceptionally straight. Photographs documenting this restoration are available. The former owner purchased the car from the Dutch Porsche specialist, Porsche Center Gelderland.
