In 2019, Morgan launched the Plus Six. As always, this Morgan offers a delightful combination of a classic exterior and modern technology under the bonnet. This time, however, a great deal has been updated, and this certainly doesn’t go unnoticed when you take the car out for a drive. Morgan uses a lightweight aluminum chassis for the Plus Six and claims it is twice as rigid as previous models. As a result, the car’s curb weight is just over 1,100 kilograms. For the powertrain, Morgan once again turned to BMW, with whom they had already collaborated on the Plus Eight, which featured an aluminum eight-cylinder engine. For the Plus Six, the inline six-cylinder engine from the Z4 M40i is used, marking Morgan’s first use of a turbocharged engine. 340 hp, 500 Nm of torque, a top speed of 267 km/h, and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.2 seconds are figures that make any car enthusiast’s heart race. Goodness gracious, what a delightful car for the dedicated driver! The sound the engine transmits through the exhaust system is addictive, and the car handles with remarkable precision. Cornering is a joy, and accelerating out of corners delivers a real thrill. Be careful, though, because this Englishman doesn’t have traction control on board.

The attractive, modern color scheme of white with a dark beige interior—where the white extends into the cabin—gives it a sporty look. The black wheels and other accents complete the picture.
