Triumph TR250
This Triumph TR250 must be seen and driven! Rarely did we receive a classic car with such a perfect handling, and also with such an exceptional beautifully restored body and chassis. Originally delivered to America in 1968 and brought to the Netherlands in 1994. Subsequently, the car was (partly) restored and sold in 1996 to another Dutchman who wanted to drive it in (tour) rallies. Ultimately, the TR was purchased in 1999 by the current owner, a garage owner and classic car specialist.
In 2014, he decided to completely restore his car. Everything was disassembled and the body and chassis were entrusted to Piet Mozes, a well-known address for top sheet metal restorations. After the body and chassis were painted at MidFriesland in Aldeboarn, the entire car was rebuilt. Many options were installed. A top engine, slightly tuned, was built by Dutch specialist van Giersbergen. The result of this work is evident!
This car drives like we have never experienced before. It is in mint condition from top to bottom with perfect fits and excellent handling. Equipped with Weber carburettors and EZ power steering. The option list is very extensive and this Triumph is therefore extremely suitable for long journeys and tour rallies. Also adapted for taller drivers.
