Audi 200 V8 quattro Procar
A tribute to the very sympathetic and widely appreciated Philip Verellen in Belgian motorsport. That’s the best way to describe this spectacular Audi V8. Verellen started his career in 1986 when he won the BELGA steering wheel for young talent. After several wanderings in various racing classes, he was incorporated in the BELGA Auditeam in 1990. Competing in the Procar championship with the Audi V8, he achieved 3 victories in the first year and came fourth in the championship. In 1991 the award came with the title of Belgian champion Procar.
In 2012/2013 this Audi was completely restored by Paul Verellen (Philips brother) to original specifications with the help of the Juma BMW team for which Philip had raced. It was never intended to be used for racing, but it is completely ready to race. Only neatly heated up and used a few times a year, for example for an article about the BELGA cars. A car for the real enthusiast and a unique opportunity to use this iconic Audi V8 for a track day, for example.
